Seacat Australia is raised in the
heart of Australia's Boat building industry on Queensland's Gold
Coast designing and building a modern new range of Power Catamarans
for the growing pleasure boat market.
The safety, stability and
performance advantages of catamarans have long been
recognised by Sea Rescue and Commercial operators, but the
interest and demand for pleasure craft is now catching
up!
Voyager Catamarans are
sleek, fast, soft riding and dry, and are luxuriously
appointed to offer a level of style and comfort normally
only associated with top ranking monohulls. The layouts are
roomy and practical with the maximum use of space normally
only available in larger mono-hulls.
Design engineer - Derek
Appleton, and Navel architects - Stanyon Marine Design took
advantage of state of the art technology to create advanced
new hull designs providing superior sea keeping abilities
with more efficient performance. These cats became another
Australian first being produced using the amazing computer
driven five axis milling router to carve the moulding plug
with precision accuracy.
All hulls have a
structural layup equivalent to 2C offshore survey and
feature greater forward bouyancy , progressive full length
wave breaker, internal spray chines and unique high
clearance tunnel. These greatly improve the dynamics of the
hulls giving unmatched rough water handling, while the air
and water mixture is exhausted cleanly out the back ensuring
a very dry ride and leaving very little wake speed.
